Stafford Police, DEA Seize 1,200 Pounds of Marijuana in Multi-Agency Operation

Stafford, TX – On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the Stafford Police Department, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration, executed a search warrant in the 4000 block of Greenbriar Drive as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
The operation involved multiple agencies, including the Stafford Police Department, Missouri City Police Department, Rosenberg Police Department, Houston Police Department, Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, and the DEA.
During the search, investigators detained several individuals, identified as nationals of Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador, and seized approximately 1,200 pounds of marijuana.
“Criminal activity will be strongly enforced in Stafford, and we remain committed to protecting our community,” said Stafford Police Chief Richard S. Ramirez. “We thank our local, state, and federal partners for their assistance in this operation.”
Authorities did not release additional details about potential charges or the identities of the individuals detained.
