Spring Woman Arrested for Elderly Exploitation Scheme Originating in Rhode Island
Dylesiya Maqwon Jackson

Dylesiya Maqwon Jackson, of Spring, Texas, has been arrested for the financial exploitation of an elderly resident of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, following a multi-state investigation.

In October 2024, Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigation Division was contacted by the Pawtucket, Rhode Island Police Department regarding a case of elderly financial exploitation. The victim had been deceived by an individual impersonating a bank employee, who convinced them to transfer their funds to a “new account” due to a fabricated security breach.

Bank records provided by Pawtucket Police identified Dylesiya Maqwon Jackson as the suspect.

Detectives conducted an extensive investigation, which included analyzing Jackson’s social media activity and gathering surveillance footage from local banks. This investigation led to the issuance of arrest warrants for Exploitation of an Elderly Person and Theft from an Elderly Person, both third-degree felonies.

Jackson was arrested on March 31, 2025, and booked into the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail.

Constable Gable and the Montgomery County Pct. 3 Constable’s Office emphasized their commitment to protecting the elderly from such fraudulent schemes.
