Spring Neighbor Caught on Video Stealing Package from Front Porch Has Been Arrested

Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a report of mail theft on January 11, 2024, in the 21500 block of Siros Isle Drive in Spring, TX. The complainant informed law enforcement that a package had been stolen from her front porch.

Upon arrival, deputies conducted a thorough investigation and discovered through video surveillance that the alleged thief was a neighbor, identified as 34-year-old Shantrell Williams.

Further inquiry revealed that Williams was already out on bond for Burglary of a Vehicle and had an open warrant for Resisting Arrest in Montgomery County.

Shantrell Williams was promptly arrested and taken into custody. She has been booked into the Harris County Jail on charges of Theft of Mail, in addition to her existing legal troubles. The bond for her latest offense has been set at $3,000.00 and will be handled in County Court 13.
