Spring Man Arrested After Shooting Woman During Argument, Deputies Say

SPRING, TX – On August 9, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a weapons disturbance at a residence in the 2400 block of Autumn Springs Lane.

Deputies arrived to find a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. They provided life-saving aid until EMS transported her to a hospital for further treatment.

Investigators learned the woman had been in a verbal altercation with a male suspect inside the residence. During the dispute, the suspect left the home, retrieved a firearm, and fired multiple rounds, striking the woman once.

Deputies identified the suspect as Jalen Wilson, who was located a short distance from the scene and taken into custody without incident.

Wilson was booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $4,000 by the 180th District Court.
