SPRING, Texas – Deputies with the Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office have arrested 24-year-old Treveon Marquis Causey following a violent disturbance involving a handgun and kidnapping in Spring.

Authorities say the incident occurred on November 1 at a residence in the 4200 block of Louetta Road. Investigators determined that Causey took a child without permission and later returned to the home armed. Video evidence reportedly shows him loading a handgun and confronting the victim, during which he allegedly impeded her breathing while another woman assaulted her. The suspects fled after gunshots were fired, striking the victim’s vehicle.

On November 4, members of Constable Herman’s Special Operations Unit located Causey’s vehicle in the 21100 block of Aldine Westfield Road and conducted a traffic stop. He was taken into custody without further incident.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has accepted multiple felony charges against Causey, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, violation of a protective order or bond conditions, and felon in possession of a firearm.

Causey was booked into the Harris County Jail, where he awaits bond in the 174th District Court.
