Shooting Incident at Aldine Area Party Leaves Three Teens Injured

In the early hours of December 3, 2023, Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of gunshots in the 1120 block of Woolwich, near Aldine Bender-Hardy Toll Road-Beltway 8 in the Aldine area.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a large party in progress where multiple gunshots had been fired. Investigations revealed that three teenagers, aged 16, 17, and 19, had sought medical attention at local hospitals for gunshot wounds. Fortunately, all three are expected to survive, with two in fair condition and the third in critical but stable condition.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez addressed the media, indicating that it seems the party was promoted through social media and flyers. As the teenage victims were leaving the event, a dispute erupted, leading to an unknown number of suspects firing shots indiscriminately into the crowd, resulting in the injuries to the three teens.
