Second Suspect Arrested in October Fatal Shooting of Man at Houston Apartment Complex
A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Brayan Rodriguez Baltodano, whose body was found in a vehicle at 7575 Office City Drive in the Pecan Park area on October 20. The shooting occurred around 4:20 p.m. and led to the victim’s death from at least one gunshot wound.
On December 3, a 16-year-old juvenile was referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. In addition, 17-year-old Juan Vasquez was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held in the 488th State District Court.
Officers were called to the scene of the shooting at the apartment complex and discovered Rodriguez Baltodano unresponsive in the front passenger seat of a vehicle. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Through further investigation, Vasquez was identified as a suspect in the shooting and was arrested on November 13 by officers from the HPD Eastside Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team. The juvenile suspect was also identified during the investigation and charged on December 3.
Both suspects are facing charges related to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
