School Bus and Pickup Collide Outside College Park High School

Around 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, multiple fire and EMS units responded to a crash involving a school bus and a pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 242 and Achievement Drive, directly in front of College Park High School in The Woodlands.

Several 911 callers reported that the school bus was loaded with students at the time of the collision. Crews from Engine 102, Engine 106, Conroe Engine 4, and Montgomery County Hospital District units—including District 2 and Medics 14, 20, and 27—quickly arrived on scene to assess the situation.

A total of 21 people were evaluated by first responders, though fortunately none required transport to the hospital. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the collision.
