Roadway Shooting Leaves Man Critically Injured in Harris County

On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at approximately 7:30 AM, deputies responded to an in-progress call on State Highway 99, between Cumberland Ridge Drive and Mueschke Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, in critical condition, was life-flighted to a nearby hospital.

Initial investigations suggested the shooting may have occurred during a road rage incident. No other victims or witnesses were found at the scene. Detectives from the Violent Offenders Unit were called to the location and began collecting evidence. Surveillance video indicated that a white pickup truck could be linked to the incident.
