Road Rage Incident Leads to Two Pedestrians Struck in Greater Hobby Area, Suspect Arrested

On January 19, 2025, a Harris County Precinct Two Deputy observed an accident involving a disturbance in the 9400 block of Clearwood Drive in the Greater Hobby Area. Upon investigation, authorities determined that the suspect, identified as Stephen Barrera, was involved in a road rage incident.

Barrera reportedly cut through a business property at a high rate of speed before entering Clearwood Drive, where he struck two pedestrians crossing the street. Both pedestrians were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.

After consulting with the district attorney’s office, Barrera was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
