Pregnant Woman Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Tidwell Road in Northeast Houston
On Thursday, August 7, 2025, at approximately 7:45 p.m., deputies responded to a fatal crash in the 12200 block of Tidwell Road in Northeast Houston.
Preliminary investigation shows a red 2010 Ford Mustang, driven by Gloria Guevera, was traveling eastbound when it was struck by a white truck of unknown make and model, also heading eastbound. The collision forced the Mustang into the center median and into oncoming westbound traffic.
A 2019 Ford F-250 pulling a utility trailer, operated by Helice Perez, then collided head-on with the Mustang. Gloria Guevera, who was reported to be two to three months pregnant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the Mustang was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
