Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Shooting in South Central Houston, Photo Released
WANTED SUSPECT “KEON”

Police in Houston have released surveillance photos of a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting and the injury of another individual. The incident took place at 3130 Alabama Street around 12:25 p.m. on Thursday, November 16.

The suspect, identified only by the alias “Keon,” is described as a young black male with dreadlocks. He was seen wearing a New York Yankees sweater/sweatshirt, black shorts, black tennis shoes, and carrying a light blue backpack.

The identity of the deceased victim, aged 40, is awaiting verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The other victim, aged 32, was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, recovering from non-life-threatening wounds.

Police responded to a shooting call at the specified address, discovering two male victims with gunshot wounds. Both victims were rushed to an area hospital, where one was pronounced deceased. Detectives determined that the shooting occurred during an altercation, leading to the suspect fleeing the scene.
