Houston Police Seek Persons of Interest in Fatal Shooting on Plaza Verde Drive

Houston police are asking for the public’s help in locating four persons of interest wanted for questioning in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at 201 Plaza Verde Drive around 12:15 a.m. on October 3.
The victim has been identified as Lavelle Bryant, 35.
The individuals are described only as Black males. Photos of three of the persons of interest have been released, while a fourth male—believed to be associated with the group—is not pictured.
According to HPD Homicide Division detectives, officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Bryant near the leasing office. He told witnesses that four suspects had forced entry into his apartment and shot him. Bryant managed to walk to the leasing office before collapsing.
Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators later identified four persons of interest connected to the case. Three are shown in released surveillance photos.
