Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Southeast Houston, No Suspects Yet
The Houston Police Department is currently investigating an incident that unfolded late Wednesday night. Around 11:15 p.m. on September 27, authorities responded to a shooting at 4638 Sunflower Street.
The victim, believed to be a male aged between 30 and 40, has yet to be officially identified, pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Police officers from the HPD were summoned to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting at the residence.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive male in the driveway of a residence who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics also rushed to the scene but, pronounced the man deceased.
As of now, investigators are working diligently to uncover any potential motives or identify suspects related to the incident.
