Pedestrian Struck and Killed on US Highway 90

Authorities are currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 13400 U.S. Highway 90 at approximately 10:30 p.m. last Friday, December 22, 2023.

The victim, a male pedestrian, was struck by a silver Honda CR-V while in the middle of the roadway at the specified address. Emergency medical personnel pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

The identity of the deceased male is awaiting verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The 72-year-old female driver of the Honda CR-V reported being unable to stop in time to avoid the collision. She did not exhibit signs of intoxication, cooperated with authorities, and was questioned before being released.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
