NEW CANEY, Texas—A multi-agency task force led by the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office has arrested an East County man for his alleged involvement in the viewing, possession, and distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

On October 8, 2025, investigators executed a residential search warrant in East Montgomery County, leading to the arrest of Brandon Dennis Sickafoose, 25, of New Caney.

The investigation began after the Precinct 4 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The tip reported an individual was uploading CSAM to a social media platform and communicating with others to purchase and distribute illegal content.

Investigators secured digital evidence, including chat communications, confirming that CSAM was being exchanged and sold for compensation.

During the search, Sickafoose reportedly admitted to viewing, requesting, and purchasing CSAM online. Investigators also recovered digital evidence from his devices indicating his possession of lewd visual material depicting a child.

The operation was a collaborative effort involving the Montgomery County Constable’s Offices (Precincts 3 and 5), the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS-CID), and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

Constable Rowdy Hayden praised the joint effort, stating, “Our ICAC Task Force Detectives work hard to protect children and bring predators to justice… I’m grateful for the partnership and support of our fellow Constable Offices, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the District Attorney’s Office.”
