One Dead, Three Arrested Following Shooting Near Hickory Twig Way

On February 7, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a shooting near Hickory Twig Way and Cypresswood Drive. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that two suspects had shot a victim before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
A perimeter was established, and with assistance from DPS Air Support and Constable Canines, deputies tracked the suspects to a nearby residence. When officers made contact at the home, an occupant, identified as 22-year-old Theron Myles, told deputies that he knew the suspects but claimed they were not inside.
Deputies searched the residence and found both suspects inside. One suspect was charged with Murder, while the other was charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Myles was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Hindering Apprehension. His bond was set at $100 by County Court 1.
