One Dead in Fatal Midtown Crash

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that took place on Saturday, February 11, at around 9:35 p.m. The incident occurred at 200 Richmond Avenue in Midtown.

The deceased has been identified as Ronald Bates, aged 62.

According to reports, the driver of a tan Honda Accord was traveling westbound on Richmond at the mentioned address when he lost control of the vehicle. Subsequently, the car veered off the roadway and collided with a tree. Ronald Bates, who was the male involved, was rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

There were no other individuals or vehicles involved in the accident.

As of now, the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
