Music Leader at Conroe Church Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse

On January 4, 2025, Montgomery County Constable Ryan Gable’s patrol deputies were dispatched to investigate a report of child sexual abuse. The deputies learned that Sean Carroll Aveilhe was accused of sexually abusing a young female with whom he attended church. Aveilhe was employed at the Breath of Life Church in Conroe, Texas, where he led the worship music.

The victim was interviewed at Children’s Safe Harbor in Conroe, where she disclosed the abuse by Aveilhe. On January 30, 2025, detectives from Precinct 3 executed a search warrant at a residence in Conroe to collect further evidence. Aveilhe was later arrested for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and was taken to the Montgomery County jail, where he was held on a bond of $100,000.
