Multiple Teens Shot, One Killed During Pool Party at Houston Apartment Complex

On Sunday, July 20, 2025, at approximately 11:51 p.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to a shooting at an apartment complex located at 15330 Liberty River Drive in Houston.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered an unresponsive male who had sustained gunshot wounds. EMS personnel attempted life-saving measures but ultimately pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

Deputies also learned that a 15-year-old female and a 15-year-old male were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the shooting. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.

Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded and determined that a party was taking place at the apartment complex pool when an unknown suspect or suspects opened fire, striking multiple individuals.

The identity of the deceased male remains unknown pending an autopsy.
