Motorcyclist Killed in Harris County Crash, Passenger Injured

A 37-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in the 21300 block of Park Road in Harris County.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division, the crash occurred at approximately 4:40 p.m. when Patrick Turk was operating a gray 2005 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle traveling southbound. Seated on the back of the motorcycle was Steven Washington. Neither man was wearing a helmet.
Investigators say Turk failed to maintain a single lane while entering a curve and struck a tree on the west side of the roadway. Turk sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital–Texas Medical Center, where he died at 5:51 p.m.
Washington jumped off the motorcycle before the crash and was transported by ground to Memorial Hermann Hospital–Woodlands with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
