Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Minivan Driven By 86-year-old On Almeda Road In Houston

HOUSTON, Texas – Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a motorcyclist Saturday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 4:40 p.m. on March 14, 2026, in the 7500 block of Almeda Road.
Authorities identified the victim as 27-year-old Daundra Navajo.
According to the Houston Police Department Vehicular Crimes Division, a red Dodge Caravan was leaving a stop sign at Hepburn Street when it collided with a black Yamaha motorcycle traveling northbound on Almeda Road.
Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Navajo deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Caravan remained at the scene. The name of the driver was not released, but was identified as an 86-year-old woman. Investigators on-scene said she showed no signs of impairment and was questioned and released.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
