Montgomery County Operation Nets Predators, Recovers Juvenile Victim

The Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office has announced the results of “Operation Predator Net,” a multi-agency initiative targeting individuals involved in the online sexual exploitation of minors. The coordinated effort brought together all Montgomery County Constable Precincts, the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, and both the local and Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Forces.

While most of the operation focused on East Montgomery County, detectives widened their scope after Pct. 1 Detective Sgt. J. Serratt identified an Illinois suspect distributing child sexual abuse material to people in Texas. The FBI arrested the suspect out of state, where agents also recovered a live juvenile victim.

Operation Predator Net resulted in:
• Two arrests for Online Solicitation of a Minor
• One FBI arrest in Illinois for CSAM distribution
• One juvenile victim rescued
• Felony drug charges for one arrestee
• Nine individuals who backed out after the undercover decoy disclosed being a minor

Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden said the operation reflects a shared commitment to child safety. He praised investigators across agencies for their collaboration and expressed gratitude for the partnerships that made the arrests and victim recovery possible.

Authorities say additional arrests may follow as investigators continue reviewing digital evidence and communications linked to the operation.
