Midland County Man Arrested After Fentanyl, Meth Found During SWAT Search

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas— A Midland County man was arrested after deputies executed a search warrant at a residence where investigators said they discovered multiple illegal narcotics, including fentanyl and methamphetamine.
The Midland County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit received information Tuesday, March 10th, about suspected narcotics activity in the 1000 block of NCR 1130 in Midland County. Following the investigation, the Midland County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant at the residence.
During the search, narcotics investigators located fentanyl, methamphetamine, THC, marijuana, and U.S. currency inside the home.
Authorities arrested 37 year old Brice Mitchell Evans. He was booked into the Midland County Central Detention Center.
Evans faces charges of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance involving fentanyl and Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance involving methamphetamine.
Sheriff David Criner said the Midland County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to arresting and prosecuting individuals involved in the distribution of illegal narcotics in the community.
