Man Shot, Drives to Houston Walgreens in Critical Condition

HOUSTON, TX – A 34-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot twice and then driving himself to a Walgreens store in the 300 block of Uvalde Road seeking help on Thursday night, July 17, 2025.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to the Walgreens at approximately 11:40 PM after receiving a report of a male who had arrived at the store with gunshot wounds.
Detectives who responded to the scene learned that the victim had been shot twice at an unknown location before driving himself to the business for assistance. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
