Man Fatally Shot Outside Northeast El Paso Bar; Police Seek Shooter

A 31-year-old Northeast El Paso resident, Damian Arce, has died after being shot in the parking lot of the Chit Chat Bar, located at 4808 Dyer, in the early hours of June 1, 2025.

According to the El Paso Police Department, Patrol officers from the Northeast command were conducting a bar check at approximately 1:00 AM when a gunshot was heard outside the establishment. Upon investigation, officers located Arce with a gunshot wound in the parking lot. He was transported to a local hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

The Crimes Against Persons unit has taken over the investigation. Initial findings suggest that Arce was involved in an altercation with another male, who then shot him for unknown reasons before fleeing the scene.

Investigators are urging the public to provide any information they may have regarding this shooting.
