Man Fatally Shot After Argument in Greenspoint Area Restaurant; Police Seek Suspect

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old man that occurred at 16425 Imperial Valley Drive in the Greenspoint area at about 10:25 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3. The identity of the deceased male is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. LaFour and Detective M. Castillo, officers initially responded to a shooting call at a nearby address, 400 North Sam Houston Parkway East, but did not locate any victim or suspects despite canvassing businesses in the area. A short time later, officers received another call reporting a male who had been shot multiple times at a nearby apartment complex. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the man to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation revealed that the victim had been involved in a verbal argument at a restaurant near the Imperial Valley Drive address. After leaving the restaurant, he was confronted by an unknown male suspect in the parking lot of 16425 Imperial Valley Drive and was shot. The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
