Man Charged with Murder in FM-1960 Shooting; Girlfriend Arrested for Hindering Apprehension

Michael Antonio Wilson, 35, has been charged with Murder in connection with the shooting death of John Dale Dixon, 50, which occurred on February 21, 2024.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) units responded to a shooting at the 1600 block of FM-1960 and found Dixon unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The investigation revealed that Dixon and Wilson had a verbal altercation at a nearby complex on Butte Creek. Dixon drove away, and Wilson followed. A physical fight ensued at the FM-1960 location, during which Wilson allegedly retrieved a pistol and shot Dixon.

On February 27, 2025, HCSO Homicide Detectives charged Wilson with Murder. He was arrested by the HCSO Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) and booked into the Harris County Jail.

Wilson’s girlfriend, Clarisa Ann Cerillo, 48, was also arrested and charged with hindering the apprehension of Michael Wilson. She has also been booked into the Harris County Jail.
