LEAGUE CITY, Texas — A Texas City man has been arrested in connection with an aggravated robbery at a League City convenience store, according to police.

The League City Police Department, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, arrested 43-year-old Brian Turner Dickson on April 14, 2026.

Dickson is charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, and is being held on a $150,000 bond. Authorities said he also had an outstanding warrant from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for a parole violation.

The arrest stems from a robbery reported around 4:35 p.m. on April 3 at League City Mart, located at 322 North State Highway 3. Police said the suspect pointed a firearm at a store clerk and stole approximately $600 in cash, along with the clerk’s phone and wallet, before fleeing on foot.

The clerk was not injured.

Investigators used location data from the stolen phone, which led them to the area of West Main Street and the Gulf Freeway, where the phone was later recovered.

Through further investigation, detectives identified Dickson as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

On the morning of April 14, officers located Dickson at a hotel in the 15000 block of the Gulf Freeway in Houston and took him into custody without incident.

Police said the investigation involved the League City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, Crime Scene Unit, and Special Investigations Unit.

Authorities said they remain committed to identifying and apprehending individuals involved in violent crimes and credited the partnership with the U.S. Marshals task force for assisting in the arrest.
