Man Arrested for Pistol-Whipping and Aggravated Assault in North Houston

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – On Friday, November 26, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to an aggravated assault at the Stoneleigh on Kenswick Apartments in the 19800 block of Kenswick near George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
According to deputies, an unknown male approached a complainant, tapped them on the head with a handgun, and threatened to pistol-whip the individual.
Deputies quickly identified the suspect as 33-year-old Raymoan Edwards and located him shortly afterward. Edwards was taken into custody without incident.
He was booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $20,000 out of the 337th District Court.
