Man Arrested for Aggravated Sexual Assault Following Investigation in Montgomery

On January 22, 2025, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office West Patrol Division responded to a call at a business in Montgomery, Texas, where a female victim reported being sexually assaulted at another location prior to contacting authorities.

Deputies from the East Patrol Division identified and located the male suspect, Miguel Angel Gonzalez Escobar, 26, at his residence. Investigators from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Persons Detectives Division also responded to the scene.

Following a detailed investigation, Escobar was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault, a first-degree felony. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he remains held on a $100,000 bond.
