Man Arrested After Double Stabbing in Anthony, Texas

EL PASO COUNTY, Texas — A 30-year-old man has been arrested after two people were stabbed late Wednesday night in Anthony, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies, along with officers from the Anthony Police Department, responded around 11 p.m. on March 25, 2026, to the 500 block of Franklin Street for a reported stabbing.

When officers arrived, they found two male victims, ages 43 and 75, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Authorities provided aid at the scene until emergency medical personnel arrived. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators quickly identified the suspect as Andrew Martinez and located him in the surrounding area along with the weapon used in the assault.

Martinez was taken into custody without incident and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. He is charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault Against a Family Member with a Deadly Weapon and is being held without bond.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation, which remains ongoing.
