League City Man Charged After Nude Break-In at Woman’s Apartment

A League City man has been arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit a Sexual Offense following a disturbing early morning incident on April 15, 2025.
Juan Hernandez, 49, was taken into custody by League City Police Department (LCPD) detectives and is being held on a $50,000 bond. He is also subject to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) hold.
At approximately 12:23 a.m. on April 15, LCPD officers responded to a report of a burglary at a second-story apartment in the 400 block of Constellation Blvd. An adult female victim reported that she had been asleep when she awoke to find an unknown nude Hispanic male touching her leg beside her bed. When she yelled, the suspect reportedly got on top of her, but she was able to push him away and grab her phone. The suspect then fled by jumping from the balcony.
Responding officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect at the time. The victim was unharmed.
Detective Demasi of the Criminal Investigations Division, along with the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), led the investigation. Hernandez was identified as the suspect and was found to be living directly below the victim’s apartment. On April 25, detectives conducted a traffic stop on Hernandez in the 400 block of Texas Ave, taking him into custody without incident.
The investigation is ongoing. Authorities are working to determine if there are additional victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Demasi at 281-338-4173.
