League City Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges After 3 Month Investigation

League City Police Detectives arrested 34-year-old Taylor Hart on two counts of Possession of Child Pornography >=50 Depictions or Videos. Hart was arrested following a three-month investigation initiated by a tip received in November 2024.
The investigation involved a collaborative effort between the League City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID), the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, and the Special Investigative Unit (SIU).
On February 4, 2025, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Hart’s residence in the 1100 block of W Main St. The search resulted in the discovery of child pornography on multiple electronic devices.
Hart was arrested and transported to the League City Jail without incident. He is currently being held on a total bond of $160,000.
The investigation remains ongoing.
The case was worked by Houston Metro ICAC Investigators, League City Police Department, Pearland Police Department, Texas City Police Department, and the Department of Homeland Security.
