League City, TX — A 19-year-old League City man was arrested Thursday morning after police say he pointed a handgun at another driver during a road rage incident.
According to the League City Police Department, officers responded around 9:04 a.m. on March 5, 2026, to a reported weapons offense in the 2700 block of West Marina Bay Drive.
Dispatchers told officers that a man driving a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee had allegedly pointed a firearm at another driver before leaving the area.
While responding, officers located the suspect vehicle traveling westbound on West Marina Bay Drive. Police observed the Jeep weaving between lanes and conducted a high-risk traffic stop in the 900 block of East Main Street.
The driver was identified as 19-year-old Tyler Robinson of League City. He was detained without incident.
During the stop, officers observed a handgun in a holster in the driver-side door panel of the vehicle.
Investigators said the victim reported Robinson had been tailgating him before pulling alongside his vehicle, rolling down his window, and pointing a handgun at him.
The victim provided a description of the firearm, holster, and the suspect, including his clothing, which matched Robinson and the items recovered from the vehicle.
