La Marque Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault After Victim Found Injured in Police Lobby

La Marque Police Officers arrested 54-year-old Shannon Bray on April 14th after a victim suffering from severe head trauma was found in the police department lobby.

At approximately 11:53 p.m., officers responded to an injured person in the PD lobby and immediately provided medical assistance to the victim, who was bleeding profusely from blunt force trauma to the back of the head. La Marque EMS transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.

Through their investigation, officers determined that Shannon Bray had assaulted the victim. Officers located Bray in the 500 Block of Elmo St., where he was taken into custody. The Galveston District Attorney’s Office accepted charges of Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon, a 2nd Degree Felony, and Bray’s bond was set at $150,000.00.
