Juvenile Suspects Apprehended in Gang-Related Shooting at Texaco Gas Station

On March 8, 2024, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Gang Investigation Unit, successfully identified and apprehended three juvenile suspects involved in the shooting incident at the Texaco Gas Station.

Following a coordinated effort involving Homicide and Violent Crimes Detectives, the Gang Investigation Unit, MCSO SWAT, CISD Police Department, and the Montgomery County Attorney, arrest warrants were executed on all three suspects. The suspects have been taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Subsequent investigation determined that the shooting was gang-related, and the suspects are currently detained at the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center.

Sheriff Rand Henderson stated, “I am immensely proud of the dedicated teamwork and exceptional efforts displayed by our investigation units. Together, we have upheld the values of justice and safety in our community. Today’s arrests send a clear message: there is no place for gang-related violence in our community, and we will not rest until every perpetrator is held accountable.”
