Juvenile Cyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Suburban Road in Harris County

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at approximately 9:47 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office units responded to a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a juvenile cyclist in the 11900 block of Suburban Road.
While deputies were en route, reports indicated that CPR was being performed on the juvenile. Upon arrival, HCEC Medic 92 found no signs of life and pronounced the juvenile deceased at 9:57 p.m.
Surveillance footage from the area showed the male juvenile riding his bicycle southbound on the sidewalk when a dog, located in a driveway on the east side of the road, suddenly darted toward him. The juvenile lost control of the bicycle and fell into the roadway. As he fell, a northbound vehicle struck him with its front end. The driver of the vehicle briefly slowed but continued northbound without stopping to provide aid or contact emergency services.
Vehicle parts recovered at the scene suggest the suspect vehicle is likely a black Chrysler 300, model years between 2015 and 2023.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division continues to investigate the incident.
