Iraq War Veteran Receives Donated Generator from Tomball Business

On Thursday, May 29, Constable Mark Herman and his team joined Matt Metcalfe, owner of Generator Supercenter of Tomball, to coordinate the donation of a brand new 22K Generac generator to a United States military veteran living in Precinct 4.
Each year, Metcalfe and his employees prioritize giving back to the veteran community by fully donating and installing a residential generator. This year’s recipient is an Iraq War veteran who sustained life-altering injuries when his vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) during a deployment. The explosion resulted in the loss of his left leg, most of his vision, and significant spinal damage.
Patrol deputies with the Constable’s Office assisted in locating and identifying the veteran. The donation aims to provide reliable backup power and peace of mind for the recipient and his family.
