Investigation Underway After Fatal Assault in Trinity/Houston Gardens Area

Houston police are investigating the death of a 67-year-old man found with head and upper body trauma at 6900 Hirsch Road in the Trinity/Houston Gardens area around 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. The identity of the deceased is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Officers responded to a report of an assault and discovered the victim lying on the sidewalk. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
