Inmate Dies After Medical Emergency at Harris County Jail

Eric Jackson, 23, died at the Harris County Jail on Monday, February 24, 2025, after suffering an apparent medical emergency in his cellblock.

Jackson was taken to the jail’s clinic, where he was pronounced dead at 5:29 a.m. Preliminary information indicates he had no apparent significant injuries.
