Following multiple tips, an undercover investigation confirmed illegal gambling was taking place at the establishment. Investigators obtained and executed a search warrant, resulting in the seizure of over $6,800 in suspected gambling proceeds, numerous illegal gambling devices, and supporting documentation.

During the operation, the on-site attendant, identified as 36-year-old Geovanni Isabel Hernandez-Torres, was found to be in the United States illegally. He was taken into custody by the Department of Homeland Security. Charges are being filed against Hernandez-Torres with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office for Keeping a Gambling Place.
