HPD Seeks Publics Help in Fatal Shooting Investigation in Southwest Houston
Houston Police are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of 60-year-old George Beasley on May 5, 2025.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 9500 block of Deering Drive in the Westwood area in southwest Houston. Beasley was found with a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased on May 6.
Investigators describe the suspect as a Hispanic male in his late 20s, known only as Mario. He may be homeless and is believed to frequent the Hillcroft Avenue area.
