HPD Searching for Ex-Boyfriend Accused in Violent Robbery at Houston Nightclub

Houston Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Willie G. Gabriel, 31, who is wanted for robbery causing bodily injury following an incident outside a Midtown nightclub last month.
The investigation began on Saturday, November 15, 2025, after a woman reported that she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend outside a club in the 5100 block of Live Oak. According to detectives, the woman was celebrating a friend’s birthday and had posted photos and her location on social media earlier in the night. Not long after, Gabriel arrived at the club and asked her to step outside.
She told police that after she got into Gabriel’s vehicle, he forcibly took her phone and began searching through it. When she tried to retrieve it, he allegedly attacked her, choking her and leaving visible bruising on her neck. The woman managed to escape and ran back to the club, where staff prevented Gabriel from following her inside. Patrol officers documented her injuries and entered the photos into evidence.
A Houston Police Robbery Division detective later confirmed Gabriel as the suspect. On November 19, 2025, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office filed a charge of robbery–bodily injury. As of December 3, Gabriel has not been located and remains wanted.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to Gabriel’s arrest or charges. Tipsters must contact Crime Stoppers directly to remain anonymous and qualify for a reward. Information can be submitted by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), online at the Crime Stoppers website, or through the Crime Stoppers mobile app.
