Houston Police Seek Suspect in Double Fatal Shooting on Windswept Lane

Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in a double fatal shooting that occurred Friday evening, November 7, at 6347 Windswept Lane.

Officers responded to an assault call at approximately 7:35 p.m. and found 30-year-old Rafael Xe Rax and 21-year-old Jose Cuz Shol suffering from gunshot wounds. Rax was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, while Shol was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Investigators determined that a Hispanic male between the ages of 20 and 30 may be responsible for the shootings. Surveillance images of the suspect have been released to the public.
