HOUSTON, Texas – Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men wanted for questioning in connection with a fatal assault earlier this month.

The incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. on March 3, 2026, in the 12600 block of Brookglade Circle in the Alief area. Officers initially responded to a “meet the firefighter” call and located an unresponsive man at the scene.

The victim was identified as 55-year-old Brian Jenkins. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Investigators determined Jenkins had been involved in a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical confrontation with another male prior to his death. Early in the investigation, authorities believed Jenkins may have been shot. However, an autopsy later ruled his cause of death as blunt force trauma, and the case has been classified as a homicide.

The Houston Police Department has released surveillance images of two male persons of interest they would like to question in connection with the case. Officials emphasized that the individuals have not been charged.

Anyone with information about the identities of the two men or details related to the case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
