Houston Police Seek Dark SUV in Fatal Shooting of Teen on Caddo Lake Lane
Houston police are searching for a dark-colored SUV connected to the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old male on Saturday, November 30, at approximately 6:40 p.m., in the 6900 block of Caddo Lake Lane.
Officers responded to a report of gunfire and discovered the victim lying unresponsive in the street. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators determined the victim had met with individuals driving a dark-colored SUV. During the encounter, an individual or individuals exited the vehicle and fired multiple shots at the victim. The teen returned fire before succumbing to his injuries.
The identity of the victim is pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect vehicle and are urging anyone with information to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or to remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
