Houston police are searching for a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a woman at 9610 West Sam Houston Parkway South (Beltway 8) about 10:10 a.m. Friday (May 19).

Felipe Martinez-Molina, 19, is charged with murder in the 179th State District Court.  A photo of Martinez-Molina, who is currently at-large, is attached to this news release.

The identity of the victim, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a business at the above address and located the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the front office of the business. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

Further investigation identified Martinez-Molina as the suspect in this case.  On Saturday (May 20) he was charged for his role in the fatal shooting. Martinez-Molina remains wanted.
