Houston Police Releases Surveillance Video in Fatal Shooting on Elaine Road

Houston police have released surveillance footage related to a fatal shooting that occurred in the early hours of November 20 in South Houston. The incident took place in the 13000 block of Elaine Road around 5:35 a.m.

The video reveals a suspect vehicle, described as a white Dodge pickup truck, and an unidentified suspect wearing what appears to be a white shirt.

The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was found unresponsive on the side of the road.

Houston Police Department (HPD) patrol officers, responding to a call, discovered the victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is currently working to verify the identity of the victim. Initial investigations and surveillance footage indicate that around 11:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, the white Dodge pickup truck stopped at the specified address. Movement was observed outside the passenger side of the vehicle, with one suspect entering the front passenger side before the vehicle departed from the scene.
