Houston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of 43-year-old Man in Near Northwest Area

The Houston Police Department is currently investigating the fatal shooting of a 43-year-old man discovered at 7800 Grow Lane in the Near Northwest area on Wednesday, December 20, around 9:10 p.m.

The victim’s identity is awaiting confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Officers responded to a person down call and discovered an unresponsive man in the street at the specified address. The individual had sustained an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to detectives, the victim had been working on a vehicle before the shooting occurred. As of now, there are no identified witnesses or suspects in connection with the incident.
